Our journey began with managing a local grass-fed beef ranch. We wore every hat imaginable—building a website, handling product pricing, conducting market research, overseeing email marketing and customer service, and even coordinating with the butcher for processing and bulk bundle pricing. We witnessed firsthand how much effort goes into every step of getting farm-fresh products to the consumer’s table.

During that time, we even brokered a deal with a major grocery chain that still moves around 15 head of cattle per week across more than 20 of their locations. Experiencing the sheer scope of tasks needed to direct-market farm products inspired us to create something bigger.

That’s why Digitl Pastures was born. We saw farmers and ranchers doing incredible work—caring for the land and raising quality animals—yet not always getting the compensation they deserved. We realized that by offering a fractional model, where farmers could access top-notch digital expertise without hiring an entire team in-house, we could help more producers nationwide. After establishing an onboarding process, developing our own app, and laying the groundwork for our business, we landed our first client: a ranch with 2,000 mother cows on 700,000 acres, eager to break away from feedlots and start direct marketing. We’re grateful they took a chance on us, and we now serve multiple farms and ranches across the U.S., with hopes to reach many more.
